The District has made Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel aware of the ad and that the group that funded it has not yet registered with the District. Thanks.

We’ll have to wait to see if Schimel follows up.

So, does CNI still cover local news, or are they just leaving the field to you now?

I don’t know the answer to that one. I do feel a little alone this week.

CNI is a weekly with a Monday deadline for a Thursday edition. (I think its still Monday, don’t much care anymore.) With Lisa Sink the only reporter to cover what’s going on in Brookfield for the JournalSentinel, Cindy and Kyle are the only ones to keep anyone honest here. Good luck.! Janet Wintersberger steps up to the plate once in a while, but she gets blasted because she lives in the town. How dare she hold a mirror up to the city!
Don’t feel alone, Cindy. A lot of us appreciate what you’re doing. And I bet there are those in Brookfield who don’t appreciate what you’re doing. So sad.

A preemptive strike by Gibson?
