The great pansy caper

It’s a rather incomplete mission. First, I only picked up one flat. That was a good decision. I found the tools and potting soil and got the front set of pots planted without too much trouble. The back deck pots gave up over the winter and forgot to say goodbye. When I went to move them it became obvious I’m shopping for a new pair.

So, if you’ve been in the pot market lately, let me know what you’re finding. Keep in mind I’m frugal (ok, on these things I’m cheap!) and understand you don’t get a lifetime of use in our winter weather. I’m looking for a couple of 20″ to 24″, don’t mind plastic as long as it doesn’t look cheap, and hate to drive around finding stuff like this.

I’m counting on you!

“The back deck pots gave up over the winter and forgot to say goodbye.”

Completely irrelevant, but that’s a lovely sentence. I really like it.

Because my sense of humor stopped progressing in the 7th grade, I thought your statement “if you’ve been in the pot market lately” was pretty funny.
