Cindy (or anyone) – Im driving down to Arizona next week and planning a trip to the Grand Canyon. I anticipate seeing a lot of really cool scenery, so I was wondering if you had any good tips for photographing landscapes like that…

Keep in mind that you can only get so much into one picture. I’ve had a lot more fun putting landscapes into a panoramic form instead of the traditional 5 x 7 or 8 x 10.
Also, if you want the best pictures, be prepared to sacrifice a little sleep. The magic hours of daybreak and before sunset earn their reputation. The shadows, highlights and color you catch then can’t be found at any other time of day.
