The 4th question is about the 4th amendment and wiretapping.

McCain admits we need to monitor conversations for the people that create a risk to the security of the United States. That draws a response. He admits there is a balance for privacy. He says hearings can be held quickly that allow the law to be exercised.

Right now we can’t even agree on a technique that protects privacy and allows effective intelligence.
