I told you his slumlord behavior would be a story that keeps on giving. Posting in tomorrow’s paper:

There is no way Brookfield officials — including Mayor Jeff Speaker — would allow a building with 50 property code violations to remain in violation. They would demand the building be brought up to code immediately and would bring legal action if the owner failed to do so. They might even order the building razed.

The standard should be no different for a building Speaker owns in Milwaukee. …
