Whistle update

I have $6.00 worth of paper before me, but not a lot of answers when it comes to the City of Brookfield’s plans to manage train whistles. A call to Director of Public Works Tom Grisa let me in on his vacation plans – through the 28th. I’ve asked for minutes from the Public Works meeting where it was discussed since they aren’t on the Web site anymore.

It doesn’t look like it’s that expensive, so I’m not sure where the hold up is in making this decision. I have a sneaky suspicion that it will be an improvement promised as a certain someone works towards re-election. But I’ll keep checking.

I’m meeting a good acquaintance for coffee this afternoon, so I’m pretty much done for the day. I’ll try to get this stuff copied and online tomorrow.
