I’d better say Good Morning before it’s noon

Sorry. Things are still a little upside down in my blogging world. I apologize for the brief time the site was down. Sadly, Googlebot decided to visit in that time frame and now my feed looks funny there! It will right itself in a day or so.

There are a couple of things to cover today for Brookfield: 1) train whistles and 2) Elmbrook swim club. In the national news, the Quinnipiac University Polls show McCain closing gaps in swing states and even inching ahead in Colorado. From the press release:

Arizona Sen. John McCain has inched ahead of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in Colorado; come within inches in Minnesota and narrowed the gap in Michigan and Wisconsin, according to four simultaneous Quinnipiac University polls of likely voters in these battleground states, conducted in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and washingtonpost.com and released today.

Obama still leads in Wisconsin.

Love the JS article on the pool, especially no public/private partnership at this time. I am sure the swimmers are saying ‘Thanks a bunch BC(2)’

I was afraid it was just me. I got a warning that said captions can’t be changed!

  3. I’m still messing with the site. It’s ugly. My house, however, is very clean, because when I start yelling at the computer I get up and vacuum something!

A clean house is an upside.

I’ve made some progress with ‘the book’ since taking your advice about skipping some pages. Maybe when can talk about that sometime next week?
