Obama lied. See the real totals from the oil and gas industry.

Obama’s latest lie? That Senator John McCain took $2 million from oil companies. To wit:

Every time you fill your tank, the oil companies fill their pockets. Now Big Oil’s filling John McCain’s campaign with 2 million dollars in contributions.

Companies can’t contribute, but those who work for them can. Below are the amounts totaled by OpenSecrets.org. It’s NOT 2 million, and Obama’s had his palm open, too.

  1. Obama still lied. Plus, wouldn’t a clever woman like you think that Obama’s windfall profits tax on those bad oil companies had something to do with McCain’s fund raising success?

(And I’m glad to see McCain is raising money. Maybe he’ll catch up with your guy some day.)

  2. Aw, you never let me have any fun!
