  1. There was also a huge protest at the Baltimore Sun by reporters and PJ’s this week over the staff cuts. MJS is probably no different than any of Sam Zell’s papers.

    From folks I know, MJS execs have taken the “we’re a newspaper, not a technology company” stance in the past when questioning the value of the interactive division. Yet, that division is the only one that is really making any money. If they can read the writing on the wall, maybe they might survive.
