What he said!

Mike Huckabee’s on Fox News right now. The takeaway? Palin received more votes as a mayoral candidate in Wasilla, Alaska than Joe Biden did for President.

  1. Actually, just in New Hampshire, 638 people voted for Biden though he had already dropped out. He picked up another 694 in South Carolina. And those are just the first two non-caucus states–I’m sure I could go on.

Palin won her first mayoral election with a grand total of 616 votes.

Time to revise that talking point?

  2. Wasn’t my talking point. I just thought it was funny.

Next time toss in some links if you don’t mind.

  3. It does not matter if it was your “talking point” or not, it was wrong. If it seems to good to be true, it is.

  4. I suspect if we called Huckabee he’d have a formula that backs his statement.

  5. It is puzzling; that isn’t a characteristic Huckabee remark.

  6. Remember guys, Huckabee didn’t major in math. He majored in miracles!

  7. From what I can find, Huckabee’s statement is true if Palin was a mayor as she ran for governor. Those votes would have to be included in this statement.

It holds. And it’s still a Shazam!

  8. How about legit reasons to like Palin??? This isn’t anything close to substantial that would sway my thought.

  9. Fair enough. It was a one-liner that I found amusing. It wasn’t supposed to sway opinion; it was supposed to amuse.
