You Won’t Want to Miss Sarah Palin this Evening…

Most thinking people agree that the choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate was perhaps John McCain’s best decision ever [or at least in this campaign]. Here’s an excerpt from her upcoming speech…

“I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education better. When I ran for city council, I didn’t need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too. Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”

And so it begins. If you can’t catch it on tv, perhaps you can grab the streaming video over the internet here. By the way, don’t forget that John and Sarah will becoming directly from the convention to Cedarburg on Friday and the event is open to the public. 1. She was such a great mayor that she tried and failed (thankfully) to get books banned from the library. Such a great mayor that there was an organized recall effort that nearly succeeded in getting her ousted from office. Such a great mayor that she did and also attempted to fire and eliminate people from their jobs because they didn’t agree with her. Nothing to do with job performance, it was a matter of loyalty. Sound familiar; it is George Bush and the federal prosecutor firings familiar. Flip flops on the bridge to nowhere when it became unpopular. Supported Ted Stevens then pulls it from her website. Such a great mayor that she had to rely on a city administrator to run a town of 5000. Even sues W’s government for protecting endangered species. Sarah Palin is an opportunist at best and just a plain liar at worst. Any intelligent woman and man for that matter needs only to look below the surface to find a typical, hypocritical politician in Ms. Palin.
