About Obama’s citizenship

October 17, 2008 at 11:42 am --by Cindy · 17 Comments

Here’s the most complete assertion that I can find.

There have been concerns about John McCain, too, but those actually made it to the mainstream media. Oh, and of course, the NY Times.

McCain produced an original document for a reporter. Obama put something on the internet and calls the issue closed. The press refuse to touch it, even though they pursued the same issue with McCain.

It does make you wonder…

This video makes my skin crawl. How many times have we gone to factcheck to get the real story? To find that Factcheck is owned by the Annenberg foundation, which funded the Obama/Bill Ayers alliance is chilling. Furthermore, the question of Obama’s citizenship has come up many times and the media ignores it. There is another story coming to the surface about Obama sending $950,000 to the campaign of Odinga (?) in Kenya to fund his campaign to become president of Kenya, then to convert Kenya to Shariya law. How can there be so much out there that is being swept under the carpet?

Do you think it is at all possible that, rather than “How can there be so much out there that is being swept under the carpet?”, these claims simply aren’t true?

  • 3 Lucky Lady // Oct 18, 2008 at 8:02 am

If the claims aren’t true, why doesn’t Obama answer the questions?

  • 4 Waukesha Mom // Oct 18, 2008 at 9:08 am

As far as I can tell, he has answered the questions about his citizenship.

If someone says that I’m a gun-toting, crack-smoking prostitute, and I ignore them for the crackpot they are, that means it all must be true because I didn’t respond?

So I’ll ask you again – Do you think it is at all possible that, rather than “How can there be so much out there that is being swept under the carpet?”, these claims simply aren’t true?

    Yep, pretty much. :)

Why would a candidate choose not to respond to such a fundamental issue?

  • 6 Waukesha Mom // Oct 18, 2008 at 9:58 am

Which fundamental issue do you feel he hasn’t responded to?

The legitimacy of his birth certificate? I believe he’s responded to that.

“There is another story coming to the surface about Obama sending $950,000 to the campaign of Odinga (?) in Kenya to fund his campaign to become president of Kenya”?

“Among the 72 individuals and organizations that contributed money to Odinga’s 2007 presidential run in Kenya, Shabbir lists “Friends of Senator B.O.” as having donated 66,000,000 Kenyan schillings, about $950,000.”

“Friends of Senator B.O.” Not “Barack Obama”

The lawsuit is Berg v Obama. You can find the documentation and more information at obamacrimes.com. The bottom of the page gives links to the documents that have been filed.
The importance of B O’s citizenship is that it is a constitutionally mandated qualification to run for POTUS.
B O’s background has many twists and turns on foreign soil that make “his word” not enough.
His medical record is a note from his doctor. The details of his college records are out of bounds. Any questions about his background are responded to as though it’s no one’s business. No other candidate has been allowed this autonomy. That may be an indication of how things will be if he is elected POTUS.
Knowledge is power. Keep researching the issues!

    Waukesha mom
You left out a key detail from the link you provide showing it was ” friends of Senator B.O.” who donated the $950,000 to the thug Odinga. It is that the donation was coordinated by Mark Lippert, a foreign policy advisor in Obama’s senate office.
And ” I believe” is now legitimate vetting?

When one provides a link, how are details (key or otherwise) left out?

    What a bizarre accusation, Randy.

  • 10 Randy in Richmond // Oct 23, 2008 at 7:26 am

No, not an accusation but a fact. And as I understand the English language, “you left out” refers to what ‘you’ said on this post.

  • 11 waukesha mom // Oct 23, 2008 at 8:50 am

“You left out a key detail from the link you provide ”

I provided a link, and a quote from the article (without leaving out any words, details, punctuation, nor anything else)

So I’ll ask again – what details (key or otherwise) did I leave out from the link I provided?

  • 12 Cindy Kilkenny // Oct 23, 2008 at 9:18 am

The link you provided isn’t even working right now. I’m not sure why you are so darn upset. Hashing semantics of the English language is usually reserved for those who have lost their point, but refuse to acquiesce.

I won’t weigh in since the link will not respond. I will say you aren’t doing yourself any favors by being so belligerent.

  • 13 waukesha mom // Oct 23, 2008 at 9:42 am

LOL!! Randy’s comments aren’t worth the time nor effort of getting upset – I’m aware of his attempts to be provacative, and I choose to not be provoked.

Your accusations of belligerence are simply silly.

Apparently, in your world, suggesting that sources be checked out, or asking a question that has been ignored are bad things.

    So be it.

I tried 5 or 6 sites listed on Dogpile that refer to that article and none would open. What’s going on here? I finally found this site that has the article. It was put out by worldnetdaily and if true could be very daming to Barack.

WMom, I like my silly world. And links that work.

Randy – I’ll give you a little trick I use. Take the quote from the article, put quotation marks around it, and let Google do the work. Every article with exactly that phrase will pop up.

  • 17 Dan H // Oct 23, 2008 at 11:15 am

Randy – I think its no longer a surprise that Barack is a poor judge of character, the sad part is that a majority of those responding to polls choose to ignore it.
