  Another aspect of this is that Obama and his Congress have said they will not renew the Bush tax cuts, thus raising everyone’s taxes regardless of income. Sen McCain, though originally opposing these cuts because they weren’t offset by equivalent cuts in spending, has said he will work to keep the Bush tax plan intact.

  John McCain has been tested, he was on standby on the USS Enterprise, awaiting the order to carry out an air strike that would have ignited a nuclear war. There were 3,000 Soviet advisers in Cuba at the time of the crisis, the USSR would not have stood idly by, and would have considered that an extreme act of aggression and retaliate without hesitation.

  So now you fault the man for taking orders? I think you’re pointing the finger in the wrong direction. Wasn’t Democrat John F. Kennedy the one with his hand on the big red phone?

  By the way, if you’re going to stick around, you need stuff to back up your statements. That’s one I’ve not heard before.

  You think he might of been tested a little more in Nam?
  And the story is true Cindy. The Enterprise was south of Cuba and the fact that John McCain and others were there probably prevented the Cuban buildup from getting to the point of no return.

  So McCain was defending his country, while at roughly the same age, Obama was partying with Rashid Khalidi.

  Oh they were really chummy when both were professors in Chicago. Rashid and his wife used to babysit for the Obamas. I’m sure though, he was just someone in the neighborhood. Those turning a blind eye to the long list of dubious Obama associations will one day see Rev Wright’s prophecy fulfilled when ” the chickens come home to roost”.
