Wisconsin’s 9 choices for President

There are nine names on our ballot tomorrow:

OBAMA, BARACK (Democratic)
MCCAIN, JOHN (Republican)
MCKINNEY, CYNTHIA (Wisconsin Green)
BARR, BOB (Libertarian)
MOORE, BRIAN (Independent)
LARIVA, GLORIA (Independent)
NADER, RALPH (Independent)
BALDWIN, CHUCK (Independent)

I confess I’ve never heard of four of them. I thought it would be interesting to do some research. We know the top two characters all too well. Cynthia McKinney is a relatively known politician running for the Green Party. Bob Barr has the Libertarian nomination.

Four Independents are on the ballot here. Brian Moore, though listed independent, is the admitted Socialist candidate. Ralph Nader is a perennial character in this season. He’s on in 45 states. Chuck Baldwin runs for the Constitution Party. Jeffrey Wamboldt (for whom I could find no Web site or biography) is the We the People candidate.

  1. Randy in Richmond says:

Off subject, but the Independant Council appointed to investigate Troopergate clears Sarah Palin of any wrong doing and contradicts the findings of the state legislature’s special council. This report alleges the legislature’s council applied the wrong law to reach his decisions.

  2. Randy in Richmond says:

According to MSNBC it doesn’t matter who’s on the ballot. Today they reported that John McCain has zero chance of winning the election. I think I’ll still vote tomorrow anyway.

  3. And the first votes are in from Dixville Notch, NH:

    Obama: 15
    McCain: 6
