Fairly Conservative

Lot’s of hits today on my opinion of Paul Ryan’s WSJ piece. I like Ryan, but I do think he lost an opportunity there. Republicans seems to be the champions of lost opportunities lately. (I’m writing it all in my head – but when I get back I promise to get it up in print for you. Republicans were taken to the woodshed the last few years, but have they learned any lessons?)

I had a long chat earlier with Todd Lohenry on the future of the party in Wisconsin. Guess we better look at the state level, too, when the time comes.
