Why be prez if you wanted a Clintonesque government? When Biden began to foretell the future (the testing of BO on an international scale, with low popularity levels in the polls, etc) it recalled to mind stories in the MSM in the years prior to 9/11: There is an underground city in which the prez may choose to take up residence in the event of war or catasrophe, essentially becoming the new Noah if the face of our nation is obliterated. That's a unique job perk.

It becomes clear that rather being a nation of the people, by the people, for the people, we are seen as mere units of productivity providing the funds our government demands. While I say it's time for govt for go on a dollar-diet for it's own good health and longevity, govt sees such peoples' exercise of freedom of speech as a pesky nuisance and impediment to "progress". In this sense, govt would PREFER a population of illegal immigrants over a population of educated thinking people expecting to GUIDE the govt.

How can you get change when the same old washington political insider elitists are still in office.

What we need are new people, not the same old washington crowd.

Obama is just picking from the same old gang that has screwed up our country for many many years.

Zach if your are expecting change from the republicans or the democrats then you are in need of some serious help.

What washington needs is not people who know it but people who can change it.

Washington needs a house cleaning but people like you Zack keep putting the same old repubs and dems back in.

Obama said change.....I see the same old faces with the same old corruption

One change I do see coming is washington spending more of my money............. and taking more of my freeedom

So all I can say is Obama08

My opinion is rather simple: Why run against Hillary if you wanted your administration to be Clinton-ran?

Puzzling, indeed.

Zach, who would have guessed?

But you didn't answer - did you expect Obama to step into the Clinton era or mix it up a bit?

So are you saying it's impossible for a President Obama to implement an agenda of change unless he's surrounded himself with folks who have no Washington experience?

The fact that Obama has picked folks who know how to get things done in Washington speaks more to his pragmatism, because I'd be worried if he tried to bring in a Cabinet full of folks with no Washington experience.
