He’s blabbering right now on Fox News. He says Daschle would have been great and still thinks he was the best person for the job. Thompson’s repeatedly calling Daschle “honorable.”
You know, I’m not sure Thompson has made much sense the last couple of years. Even before his presidential run, he was a little off, don’t you think?

Thompson’s been out of it for about 20 years, give or take a few Zillion on road-building and “Screw ‘em” speechification.
