Wait, I’m up and typing

Does that mean the world hasn’t ended yet?

I keep waiting, you know. Surely the current situation isn’t being over hyped or anything.

I did get a call last night from someone I truly respect that said, indeed, business was starting to really take a downturn. I will concede my stand that I haven’t heard it first hand. Now I have.

This same acquaintance offered a remixed version of a rather off-colored Carter era joke given yesterday’s post on those fantasizing over the President. Close your eyes if you’re easily offended. I’ll clean it up the best I can.

Do you know why Barry likes Michelle on top? Because he’s used to “screwing up.”

(Now those are basically our President’s words, not mine, so you just hang on to your harsh criticism.)

I think I’ll go give the car a bath today then drive around with the top down. This weekend we were out with a couple that has it on good word that we’re in for an early spring. (Did you know Kohl’s keeps a meteorologist on staff to help determine inventory needs and marketing?) I sure hope that’s the case.

  1. Yes, most apparrel retailers use this data for modeling and merchandising applications. I’m not sure if I agree however with the prediction. The most accurate models I’ve followed for several years are at: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/predictions/long_range/seasonal.php?lead=1
