I think it’s funny the President is throwing a fit already because his bill wasn’t exactly what he wanted. You see, details of the bill didn’t emerge until after the bill had passed. That’s a nice way of saying that our fearless leader doesn’t have a clue what’s in this stimulus bill either.
It’s fun to watch the Democrats and Obama part ways on such an important issue. I suspect this little crack in the partisan fortress will have bigger implications soon.
Thank goodness Obama doesn’t have a line item veto. I can’t figure out why that bit of misery is afforded to the states when it’s considered unconstitutional for the President to use. But then, there’s a lot of things I don’t understand about our government these days.
