Ode to the Armani suit

Bernie Madoff traded his Armani for a prison jumpsuit today. What goes around sometimes still comes around. My secret spy theory is that Madoff knows he only has a few months to live, so he’s setting himself up instead of implicating the rest of the guilty family. I’ll guess we’ll have to wait and see on that one.

You know, Brookfield has a guy that’s known for his Armani. Rumor has it he’s not buying much right now. In fact that house of his is said to be up for sale. He’s liquidating assets in other states. He’s sold off big time in Brookfield’s commercial market.

  1. Is he still waiting on that marble from overseas? I haven’t been over that way in awhile.

  2. Tinkerbell says:

I’m wondering if the building could house a new school?

  3. I’m guessing that marble would be very low on his list of current priorities. I hear he’s had a terrible time getting any money at all, and he’s always stayed very leveraged. (That’s a tactful way of saying he kept enormous amounts of debt.)

  4. …not to mention that he had a reputation for delaying payment of his subcontractors WAAAAYYYYYYY beyond normal.

I’m SHOCKED to learn that the YooperMouth was shilling for VK. SHOCKED, I say!

  5. Should I feel guilty that I did a large amount of my growing up in a VK home?

  6. No. Why would you think that?

  7. hahah i dunno, you seem to strongly dislike the guy
