All right, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close-up.

Where is our fabulous President going to take us today?

Yesterday a second of his planes flew low to the ground in NYC to catch a photo-op with the Statue of Liberty. Plans are to take photos of the plane in front of several monuments. I wonder how much that’s costing us?

Oh, BO is supposedly outraged, but I doubt it’s real outrage. Dude wanted photos. He’s the President. He can do anything he freakin’ wants. Spend what I’m sure is hundreds of thousands of dollars to make sure Air Force One has an image that can’t be beat – during an economic meltdown! Characteristically, BO’s working overtime to make sure someone else takes the fall since the photo shoot didn’t go over too well.

Catch this gem in the way the Associated Press wraps up the article:

“This was a photo shoot. There was no need for surprise,” Sen. Charles Schumer said. “There was no need to scare thousands of New Yorkers who still have the vivid memory of 9/11.”

The very thorough (gag) news reporter doesn’t even bother to mention that Schumer is a Democrat.

Dems better get used to it. They’ll be covering for President Obama’s narcissistic personalty flaws for years to come.

Comments

  1. Yep, this was dumb. A new photo to replace a previous stock photo, no less. Coulda photoshopped it.

  2. You ask and you shall receive…

Just got this from my Twitter:

CNN: Air Force says cost of F-16’s and VC-25 flyover (photo shoot) in NYC cost an estimated $328,835.
