Palin’s decision now allows her to avoid the difficult task of running for president while serving as governor.

I don’t think I was ready for that.

    I think this is the nail in the coffin. Newt has a better chance of squeaking his way into the White House.

    While this goodbye is certainly bittersweet, it is more sweet than bitter.

    Palin’s a mystery, but I bet it won’t be one for long. Dumping the news on July 3rd before a holiday weekend means she didn’t want much discussion.

    Just back from the Greenfield parade. We went there due to timing and other factors.

    I wanna complain (actually bitch) about these stupid bag chairs. They are made of canvas and they are HOT. They are not comfortable. They generally suck. What idiot decided to eliminate the old aluminum web backing chairs? I miss them. They were great. Someone would make a fortune to bring them back. I’d buy a zillion of them. The webbed seat and backing were perfect for summer – air could move through them. They fold easy and are light to carry. They are wonderful.

    Wilson828 – did you pick up some of the cheap bag chairs? Those I find terrible. We popped for some nice ones at REI, nylon mesh, love ‘em
