Pardon Me

Seven former Directors of the CIA have sent a letter to President Obama requesting that he reverse the decision by Attorney General Eric Holder to hold a criminal investigation into some of the investigative techniques used by agents. These directors have served under both parties for a period that spans back 35 years. Furthermore career federal prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia have already investigated 20 cases of those involved and recommended one case to the Grand Jury.

To summarize we have a President with 8 months of executive experience and an Attorney General who recommended the last minute pardon of Marc Rich, a fugitive with an arrest warrant for immense amounts of tax evasion and also the clemency of 16 members of violent Puerto Rican nationalistic organizations, making a decision that is being opposed by seven men who served our country as director of the intelligence community for a period spanning four decades.
