Wisconsin State Representative Jeff Wood picked up for 4th OWI

From the Wisconsin State Journal:

State Rep. Jeff Wood has been arrested in Marathon County on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, his second such arrest in less than a year and fourth overall, a Wisconsin State Patrol official said Thursday.

Wood, an independent from Bloomer, was picked up Wednesday on Highway 51 in the town of Rib Mountain outside Wausau, said Lt. Timothy Carnahan of the State Patrol.

Carnahan said Wood was alleged to be under the influence of prescription and nonprescription drugs but not alcohol.

And he just voted to make the 4th offense a felony in Wisconsin. Of course, that’s not a law yet…
