Yet another failure for President Obama’s Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change, Carol Browner. Yesterday there was an 8 magnitude earthquake near Somoa with a resulting tsunami that has caused death and much property damage in the region. This on top of the recent floods in Georgia and the continuing costly weather delays of the shuttle and scientific rockets in Florida.

Ok, I’m a little confused. Are you blaming the earthquake and tsunami on Browner?

Maybe the post is tongue-in-cheek and I’m missing that.

My point is about the Obama administration having a cabinet level position with a title that indicates man can change the climate. This is just another extension of the narcissistic and egotistical attitude this administration continually exhibits. If Ms Browner were doing what her title implies, these weather and geological events need not occur.

It is partly tongue in cheek but the message is genuine.

Got it. Felt that might be the direction, but couldn’t put my finger on it.

This is BO’s chance to show us how the response to Katrina should have been handled.
