So Rush Limbaugh didn’t get what he wanted…

He’s a big boy. He’ll live through it.

Is this mess really any of our business? Not to me. I don’t like football and I don’t like Limbaugh, so it isn’t causing me any harm.

I’ve heard lots of things, but my conclusion? This wasn’t about racism – it was about Rush Limbaugh. The brand he’s made of himself just didn’t work in this situation.

Win a few; lose a few.

  1. You’re not seeing the bigger picture. This is the same as the boycott against Glenn Beck by ColorofChange. This is a vast left-wing conspiracy against conservatives. This is anti-Republican. A black NFL Seattle player called into Limbaugh’s show today defending Rush, calling Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton “poverty pimps.” What do those two have to do with football? It is all about politics, not racism. Obama is shutting down all opposition voices. Obama’s White House is excluding Fox News Channel, calling the FNC “the opposition.” This is part of his promise to fundamentally change America…to Socialism. It’s the only campaign promise he’s keeping. You should make it your business, your concern.

  2. Nah. I think a lot of that stuff is being made up because he didn’t get his way.

  3. It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”). He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).

Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons. So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault. Don’t we all feel better?
