Book(s) of the Month

As Cindy belongs to a Reading Club it occurred to me that other readers of this site might also, or at least you may want some guidance on what to read. What better organization to peruse for reading guidance than the one that represents our nation’s teachers–the National Education Association. These are the people hired and paid by all of us to lead and guide our children as they mature and learn of life’s ways. Certainly any recommendation they make will reflect traditional American values and help us develope into productive citizens. Their name even contains the word ‘National’, so they must have our country’s well-being in mind.

About two of their selected, highlighted, and recommended readings, the NEA says they are “An inspiration to anyone contemplating action in their community!” And that the author “was hated and defamed by powerful enemies, proof that his tactics worked.”

  1. Are you kidding me??? I guess this should come as no surprise, considering it was a main doctrine for both President Obama and former First Lady Clinton.
I assume most Americans don’t even know these books exist. Maybe if they did…and they actually read them…they would understand the danger.

  2. Ooh! I know! Let’s start our own radical change club!

I want warmer weather in Wisconsin. Think we can bully that?

  3. Randy in Richmond says:

For that Cindy you will need my favorite, Carol Browner, Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change.

  4. Or a little Gorebal Warming.

It’s going to be hard to leave 70 to 75 and head towards possible snow tomorrow.
