Fairly Conservative

As I mentioned the other day, I’ve been playing with the idea of starting a travel site. It’s time to do a little internet research.

I’ve spent some time today looking for a site like the one I’d like to run. It would have everything from choosing where to go to how to handle travel emergencies. I really can’t find anything like it yet – which means I’ve been looking in the wrong direction.

The one thing I know I don’t want to do is run tours or anything like that. I would like to generate advertising revenue. Also, I think keeping something of a Wisconsin angle would be interesting, too. How to get in and out of here, where to go if you don’t want to fly, etc.
