Fairly Conservative

Ok, Wisconsin Democrats, and especially Wisconsin’s Dem bloggers, are having a Wisconsin cow over Ron Johnson’s stance on global warming. Johnson has made some statements that frankly don’t differ from the average conservative stance. In fact, I’m pretty sure the Greenland comment is more of a conservative inside joke than an expanded statement of fact.

Think of that. Johnson endearing himself to his base on what is truly the most ridiculed topic Republicans hold against Democrats: global warming.

At this point in the campaign, one is expected to secure the base. About two weeks before November 2, Johnson will move towards the middle. That’s when I bet Feingold will find himself in a little blaze orange.

It’s the way this game is played.
