Gearing up for tonight’s debate

Well, one side is pretending it won’t happen according to how little information they’ve put out, but the other is ready to go.

Tonight’s debate between Republican gubernatorial candidates Scott Walker and Mark Neumann is at 7:00 p.m. According to the Neumann site, you can catch it at:

  1. I am so curious as to why Walker chooses certain words to describe tonight’s debate. For the second time he calls the debate something else…this one is a ‘town hall’. Neumann lists the activity as a debate, and further, provides a listing of all channels it will be broadcast on – inviting everyone to watch. This tells me Walker is not mentally prepared for a real debate. Why? Curiouser and curiouser, I am, to watch the debatetownhall tonight.

  2. I just got it. You see, there’s not a winner or a loser if this was a townhall as one might expect with a debate. Maybe Walker thinks there should be three governors since three main characters are running.

I was surprised at how nervous Neumann looked tonight. I just wished he would have mentioned he has 26 years in business. jk.. I think on one question he said that 4 times. That is such a huge advantage he has, but he seemed to use it as a crutch. No winner here in my mind, they are both too similar. No ‘a ha’ moment fir me on either candidate. I hope whatever happens in the primary, that a few of these with Barrett take place before the general election.
