I think I just felt an Obama strategy shift

He’s babbling, and I have the TV on, because it’s a hobby to watch the market go down when he opens his mouth.

Anyway, I’ve noticed in this speech for the first time he’s not blaming the “previous administration,” and instead he is blaming the “policies of the last decade.”

I know it’s a very small nuance, but I think it’s an important sign of defeat. His strategy of blaming Bush didn’t work.

Now, he still hasn’t accepted responsibility for the actions his policies might have had on the recovery efforts in the last 20 months or so, but it’s a start.
