Poor Senator Feingold

His schedule is just so darn busy, he can’t spend time on the stage with President Obama.

No, really. Obama hasn’t exactly helped those for whom he’s campaigned. Maybe Feingold is crazy life a fox to stay away when he knows the President is so unpopular here.

Wait, does that make Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Tom Barrett stupid?

I have to think about that.

  1. Randy in Richmond says:

This is not a Wisconsin phenomena, it is a United States phenom. And the lame reasons the politicians use to excuse themselves insults my intelligence. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to hear a candidate say I prefer to not stand with the President because I fundamentally disagree with much of his policy. Won’t happen, but one can hope.

  2. I have a theory that Obama doesn’t want to be seen with Feingold 😉

  3. Randy in Richmond says:

You may have more info on the Wisconsin political scene than I do here on the East Coast. Your state best ‘enjoy’ the numerous President’s visits now because if you elect a Republican Governor and/or Senator he probably won’t be back. That’s the history in Virginia. 🙂

  4. BrkflkdDad: I proffered that theory a couple of days ago, but actually, this one makes more sense. Barrett’s statewide win would absolutely depend on a turnout similar to Obama’s, and Obama’s the only one who could pull that off in the city. Feingold, on the other hand, knows his race depends on the state other than the inner city, and Obama is not good for that.

  5. Randy/Cindy – Actually, I was joking… but it did cause some through provoking responses 🙂

  6. You are trouble. I ran into another trouble maker this morning. Maybe you two are related and I just don’t know it yet.
