Number 542 at 11:00 a.m.

Turnout in Brookfield’s 2nd district is brisk. We are known for being good voters.

Sure, most of it is going to Walker, but if even 30% breaks for Neumann in this area, I’d say the chances are good he’ll win the primary.

542, say 100 are Democrat voters, 442 x 30% … that’s less than 200 Neumann votes needed. I think that’s a real possibility. I know a few dozen of them myself.

  1. Oh. That is a fun math game! I’m going to try it out- have to find someone who has voted recently.

I’m curious. Did you notice which name was listed first on the ballot for Republican governor?

  2. I don’t. I think Neumann was 2nd, though.

  3. Jonas Wilkerson says:

The question on everyone’s mind today is this… if Mark Neumann wins tonight, will Reince Priebus call him? If so, most assuredly Reince would start out with, “Hello, Neumann.”

  4. 11:55AM in Milwaukee’s 105th Ward – voter #51. Sad.

  5. Liberal one says:

I hope you’re right Cindy, but I don’t see it happening. My prediction is Neumann loses by 10%

  6. Uhem. Reince Preibus is no dummy. For all we know, he’s already called Mark Neumann.

It’s politics. Your best friend is the candidate that’s winning.

  7. Jonas Wilkerson says:

Cindy, quite honestly, that will be a hard call to make.

  8. Perhaps. But if Preibus calls Neumann, I’m betting Neumann will be gracious.

  9. Liberal one says:

If Neumann wins, there will be a lot of awkward moments

  10. RL – on the Republican side it was:

    SCOTT S PATERICK (Republican)
    MARK W NEUMANN (Republican)
    SCOTT WALKER (Republican)

  11. I voted for Neumann. I am hoping for the best. But my guess is that Walker wins by double digits.
