A sneak peek at the new Glorioso’s on Brady Street

If you’ve ever been into the small family store, you’ll be as amazed at their new surroundings as I am.

Here’s the new face of the store:

A view of the new deli case:

There’s an old Milwaukee feel to much of the interior of the store.

I can’t wait to check it out!

  1. Oh, my goodness! Going to the old store was part of my childhood memories and Sicilian heritage, but I am sure I will adjust. 🙂

When is the new one open? I need some crystallized ginger and they were a great source of it in bulk. I also like their olive salad better than Angelina’s in Brookfield. (Angelina’s sausage is better though–sorry Glorioso.)

  2. I just sent an e-mail – I’ll let you know about the store’s opening date.

I’m not sure I ever understood there was Sicilian in the mix. That could explain your stubborn streak. 😉 I always blamed mine on the German genes.

(I suppose I should clarify Kyle Prast is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Teasing her about her stubborn streak is a little like calling Mother Teresa hard-nosed.)

  3. This looks great, Cindy! I’ve never been and can’t wait to go 🙂 (BTW, my anti-spam word is “PIE”…could it be a foreshadowing?!)

  4. Well I did just drive a Ford Edge. Next on the list, a Honda CR-V. It was the number one pick from the article you sent.

  5. Looks like a great new store!
