RNC Chairman Michael Steele breaks his silence

POLITICO is reporting this morning that Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele will hold a “private” conference call with members of the committee on Monday night.  The article speculates that Steele will make it known whether or not he intends to seek re-election as Chairman next month.

Clearly momentum is building for Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Reince Priebus to take the helm at the RNC next month.

On Tuesday, we’ll take a closer look at Priebus’s run for RNC Chairman as well as potential candidates to replace him at the RPW.

  1. Priebus is not getting a whisper of a mention by the pundits of any cable news shows. Wonder if he still thinks He’s The Man. I suppose it is still early but I’m hearing of anyone but Priebus when the talking heads throw out names of contenders.
