Sucks to be President, eh Mr. Obama?

Ok, this made me snort. President Barack Obama has rescheduled an outdoor apology tour speech in Rio de Janeiro and replaced it with a more controlled offering. The paragraph that got me going?

Some social and union groups have declared Obama a “persona non grata” and called for a protest, accusing him of a “bellicose policy of occupation” in foreign countries, and of attacking people “in the name of the war on terror.”

I could swear that’s what Obama campaigned against a couple of years ago. I mean, it does seem just like yesterday he claimed we should be out of everyone’s way.

It’s obviously more difficult to be POTUS than the man originally thought. Either that or a majority of people were just stupid enough to believe what he was saying a couple of years ago.

Oh, wait…

  1. I wouldn’t make snide comments about voters when your only source/commentary for a Rio speech is a notorious fabricator-breibart. As to regretting a vote two words McCain/Palin. Enough said!

  2. Well here. I’ll let you read the Telegraph if it makes you feel better.

  3. Randy in Richmond says:

The man who many thought , just two years ago, would turn the world around denied the opportunity to speak publicly. I’ll take a stab at the reason–there is no way to assure those in the crowd would all be pro-Obama. I bet there will be no ‘public’ attendees at his relocated speech site. I agree with Anon–I regret having had to vote for McCain/Palin. I wish it had been Palin/McCain.
