Criticism Within

Peter Orszag, former director of the Office of Management and Budget in the Obama White House, is quoted in an article to be published today in New York Magazine,

“I didn’t want to do it, having worked in a White House before, I knew how the infighting can become all-consuming, and I didn’t want to fall into that trap again. Many of my mentors warned me that despite the ‘no-drama’ Obama campaign, once in office, this White House would inevitably be like others — and possibly worse. And unfortunately that’s exactly what happened.”

The other day, as reflected here, the Attorney General of the United States was very critical of the Democratic Congress. Now, a former high ranking insider is openly critical of the Obama White House he served in. What these Obama appointees each say speaks for itself.
