Congratulations Supreme Court Justice David Prosser on your re-eleciton

This is from the AP, and mind you that can be tricky, but here goes:

Tallies from each of the state’s 72 counties show Justice David Prosser defeated challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg by 7,316 votes. State election officials said they will wait to declare an official winner until the deadline for Kloppenburg to seek a recount passes. She has until Wednesday to call for one.

Now to all those broken-hearted union champions, you will notice that the vote difference appears to be under the 0.5% and allows Kloppenburg a free recount. That’s been a big deal the last week. Many from the left have claimed Waukesha County’s count to be fraudulent in an attempt to give Prosser a win over the minimum number.

Total votes cast: 1,498,860
times 0.5% = 7,494

Another weekend will pass and still Wisconsin remains unsettled. I know our state leadership is backing off waiting for the dust to settle, but I sure would like to be patted on the head every once in a while. A little reassurance would be a good thing. A timeline? Intermediate goals? (Bueller? Bueller?)
