Let me be the first to congratulate you on the left. It’s been a great couple of days for you starting with President Obama’s speech proposing to raise taxes on those nasty, successful rich Americans. The administration labeled this proposal the Buffett Bill in honor of the second richest man in America.(?) Secondly the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy of our military has officially been repealed. Never mind this policy was initiated during the Clinton administration. And just today Attorney General Eric Holder announced the administration would do everything it could to close the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay.

I know you Democrats are just ecstatic about these developments, as well you should be. And this may surprise you but I’m also glad these particular events took place as they did. For a while we are on the same page.

  1. I agree! Big group hug. πŸ™‚

  2. Now that you mention it, it has been a pretty darn good couple of days.

  3. Knowing these events would be Jesus-approved, I say congratulations to all Christians.

  4. Randy in Richmond says:

As a Christian, and the writer of this post, I take exception to your “knowing” these, or any other, events would be “Jesus approved”. It’s actually your opinion and for that you can say as you please. But I doubt you are qualified to interpret what the Son of God would or would not approve of in today’s world.

  5. “The founder of a different Christian legal organization takes aim at the idea of Sekulow profiting in the name of religion, saying [it isn’t what Jesus would do].”

    The unmitigated audacity!!! πŸ˜‰
