    in my high school days from 1946 to 1950, there was no lunch program. we either carried a bag, went home to eat or did without. I do not know when this program started but it is alarming that our high school students complain about a free lunch, on the taxpayers. btw. we have been fortunate to have some very concerned first ladies in our recent history. 3 cheers for the ladies’.
