To do Thursday, 10/11/12

–Go lift weights. Soooo not looking forward to this one. I’ve really increased my activity level the last couple of months and now I’m sore all the time. I’ll do it though. It will suck, but it won’t kill me.

–Start a little research on the next project. I think it will be an attempt at fiction this time. Ok, so that thing to the right is not providing much more than a street-vendor dinner for the kid at college, but I’m still tickled I finished it. I think of it as learning by doing.

Oh, and if you haven’t seen Nick’s photo’s yet, well, you should. They are still my favorite part.

–Figure out dinner. I made Son #2 chili last night (he comes over on Wednesday evenings after a long day of classes) and it was amazing. Now all I can think of is chili. That’s probably because the house still smells like it.

Anyway, tonight needs to be much lighter fare. I’m thinking fish. But really? All I want is to have chili again.

–Start research on project Son #2 mentioned. That kid has always been the idea monster in this family. Of course, he’s also the one who lit cattails in the garage to test their burn time and would walk across the top of the swing set just because he could.

It can be hard to keep up with him sometimes. But, every once in a while an idea gets at least a little effort from me. He’s convinced it’s time to invest in real estate. I’m thinking he might be right.

–Watch Paul Ryan whip up on Joe Biden. Oh, who am I kidding. The real goal this evening will simply be to watch Paul Ryan.

The folks at No Runny Eggs are doing another live debate. Shoebox is hosting, so snark will be at full alert.

I still haven’t decided if I’ll be there. Have to see how the rest of the day goes, first.

You all have a good one out there.
