Can you believe we’re halfway through October?
I’m chugging down my first morning cup, so I will avoid numbers. (As I showed yesterday, sometimes even that precaution doesn’t work!) I am also happy to report it was just allergies yesterday. No more drippy nose.
Tonight East plays at Marquette, and Central has their Homecoming against Wauwatosa East. (Careful on the roads tonight!)
President Bush will talk again this morning regarding our economic situation. I admit to a bit of a disconnect these last few weeks as the numbers and tone I hear in the media doesn’t match the every day rhythm of our household. If I didn’t look at the statements and turned off the TV, I wouldn’t know there was a problem yet. How about you? Why don’t you use this post to discuss if it’s hit you yet. Not stories or predictions - have you actually changed the way you live?
There have been a couple of questions about Obama’s citizenship. I’ll get what I know up later this morning. It is an interesting question. (No jumping the gun and making comments about it yet!)
Coffee…more coffee…….

We have not changed anything in our household other than significantly increasing the amount of money we are adding each month to the 529 accounts for the 5 grandchildren.
