I got sidetracked and played with the sidebars on the blog tonight. Yes, I added an Amazon.com carousel. Right now it has best sellers (notice the Russert picks), but I think I can reconfigure this with my favorites. Since I am now blurry-eyed, it will wait until tomorrow.
For those of you who are really curious, I’ve never run widgets on the right. I could, but somehow the search box I like is only available in hard code, so I monkey with the whole thing instead of overwriting it and sliding in the widgets. (Aren’t you glad you asked!)
Every time I play with this thing I learn a little more code. That part’s kind of fun. When I mess something up, though, it sure is frustrating.

Those Google links are a hoot! I like the t-shirt that says “Obama: This time I want a smart president.” I was going to try “Fidel backs Obama” next, but it disappeared, so I’m off to “think you’re liberal?”
