The book is finished. It was a great read - more twists and turns than I’d expected.

It doesn’t look like I missed that much in the real world. The media is obsessing with Sarah Palin again - this time her wardrobe - but I doubt very seriously we’re being given the whole story. We rarely are. But since even the All Barack Channel has declared the spending legal - even if only “barely” - I guess that’s that.
In a side note, Sarah Palin’s ordinary clothing is actually one of the things a girlfriend and I discussed. My final note to the conversation a few weeks ago? “Yeah, she looks like the kind of lady that could stand to get rid of a few pairs in her underwear drawer, too.” (For you uninitiated, underwear drawers have a habit of hanging on to things that you would never want to wear to the hospital in case of emergency.)
While Palin and McCain have stayed front and center in a negative light by the MSM, our friend Senator Obama (and his Gaffemaster Senator Biden) have - poof! - disappeared as efficiently as Brookfield’s own Mayor Jeff Speaker.
I swear. Something’s up.

I had a trip to LA scheduled for Friday through Wednesday, but changed those plans earlier this week. I’ll be staying home. I also hope to continue with some more photography, as we choose the photos to exhibit on the 31st, and I don’t feel like I’ve really done what I had planned yet.
In the meantime, it’s just us. If anything actually happens out there, I’ll try to catch it.

Yeah, all negative McCain/Palin; all positive Obama/Biden.
I’m voting tomorrow and watching my Rays in the World Series and by the time it’s done maybe the election will be, too.
Bobby Jindal in ‘12.
Where ya gonna exhibit?

The Waukesha Art Crawl starting December 6th at the Waukesha Civic Theater. We’re each supposed to hang 3 prints. It’s a big push for me because, 1) I’ve never framed anything big, and 2) I’ve never put a price tag on anything.
I still may not price anything.

I had a flash of a Republican I’d like to see run in ‘12 if McCain loses - I can’t for the life of me remember who it was though. I’ll come back if I remember.

Ah, I’ll mark the 6th on my calendar, since I’m in walking distance of the theater.

Jindal would be a blast. We could talk about all the excorsisms he’s taking credit for.

I don’t care how he does it, capper, as long as he brings some sanity to spending
