Fairly Conservative

Yesterday I (really we) received a letter from the center’s Executive Director Jonathan Winkle saying that Development Director Beth Dolan left the organization. She’s taken a job with Children’s Hospital. I called today to see if they intend to fill her post. It looks like it will be a while before someone gets back to me.

I’ve not met this new director. I knew the past two pretty well as I was very active in the center. My enthusiasm died out a couple of years ago after several of the Wilson Center Board members spread a particularly hurtful lie prior to the election. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that my checkbook tends to follow my heart. (Hey, they have Vince Kuttemperoor - why would they need me?)

Indeed, they are fine. The letter touts that the center has managed to break even the last three years.
