Andy Smith, Director of Communications for Elmbrook Schools, resigns

You can talk amongst yourselves regarding this news while I die of boredom at city hall.

I knew something was up because I’d been getting specific hits all day, but darn! That’s news. I have lots of Andy memories that I’ll share later tonight.

Andy extended a warm welcome to community visitors at the board meetings. I found him to be kind in sharing information and impassioned in his beliefs as I am in mine. I enjoyed his humor and creativity. I know he will find a comfortable new niche and be a great spokesperson for noble and worthy causes he believes in.

Cheri…are you implying that the referendum work he did was “noble and worthy”? When we get our next tax bills, I have a feeling many people will take issue with that characterization.
