Elmbrook assistant superintendent for finance Bob Borch confirmed today that BC (2) - aka Brookfield Central Booster Club - remains behind in their payments to the district for Central’s field improvements. The last check was for $6,500 and received in Feburary which left the group short on their commitment to fund part of the taxpayer-paid athletic field improvements at Brookfield Central High School. As I wrote in March, Elmbrook school board president Meg Wartman has twice been cited by a Milwaukee paper as a member of the organization.

Full payment of over $150,000 is due in June.

Go ahead. Prove me wrong. Don’t stick taxpayers with this one, too, Ms. Wartman.
